PROMOTING MULTI-INDUSTRY COOPERATION BETWEEN HO CHI MINH CITY AND GERMAN ENTERPRISES

On the morning of April 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, received Mr. Philipp Rosler, former Deputy Prime Minister, former Minister of Economy and Minister of Health, Republic of The German Federation and the German Business delegation visited and worked in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Hoan emphasized that the City aims to transform the economy towards green growth and digital transformation, thereby creating cooperation opportunities for German businesses in priority areas such as IC industry, electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical…

At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City also wants support from German businesses in building the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center in the City, providing finance and technology transfer for development projects. infrastructure development, especially projects related to urbanization and transportation.

Mr. Philipp Rosler, head of the German business delegation, expressed his appreciation for Ho Chi Minh City’s potential and position in the Vietnamese economy. He also pledged to contribute to the City’s economic development through cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, consulting and financial investment.

At the meeting, Head of the German Business Delegation Urs Unkauf, Federal Executive Director of Development and Foreign Trade (BWA Global Economic Network) also expressed his desire to build a bridge between the German and Vietnamese business communities.
