VIETNAM AIRLINES LAUNCHES DIRECT FLIGHTS TO MUNICH, GERMANY
On the afternoon of March 12, Vietnam Airlines announced that it will open direct routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Munich, one of the largest cities in Germany, starting from October 2024.
Specifically, Vietnam Airlines will operate flights between Hanoi and Munich twice a week, departing from Hanoi on Fridays and Sundays, and departing from Munich on Mondays and Saturdays.
Additionally, the route between Ho Chi Minh City and Munich will be operated once a week on Mondays, with the return flight on Tuesdays. From December 2024, Vietnam Airlines will add an extra flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Munich, departing from Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesdays and from Munich on Thursdays.
With this new destination, Vietnam Airlines will operate a total of 4 routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the two major cities in Germany, Frankfurt and Munich.
The opening of direct flights will help students save time and transportation costs compared to connecting flights. This makes traveling between the two countries more convenient and less expensive.
